America's middle class is kind of booming. According to a new report, between 2015 and 2016, the US median household income rose 3.2 percent, from more than 57 thousand dollars to just over 59 thousand. The new number is now the highest income year on record. Almost every demographic group also experienced a rise in incomes last year, according to the Census. That was due to more Americans securing full-time and better-paying jobs, showcased by a total year-over-year rise of about 2.2 million workers.
