Leaders of the U.S. Senate Finance Committee have reached an agreement to finance the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).The agreement means CHIP will be financed for 5 years.reauthorization of CHIP became contentious when the Republican party failed to repeal and replace the Affording Care Act earlier this year.“I am hopeful we can move forward swiftly to ensure no lapse in care for our nation’s most vulnerable children,” Orrin Hatch
