Celebrities Send Thoughts and Help to Irma-Damaged Florida

There weren't many people whose good thoughts and prayers weren't centered on the state of Florida over the weekend. Hurricane Irma was due to make landfall and was reaching epic proportions.

Luckily, it wasn't as bad as the predictions, but it was still devastating to many, nonetheless. Still, the storm remained at the top of the news.

Celebrities were among the many sending their good thoughts to the Sunshine State, with some even pledging their help, with Hurricane Jose on the horizon and Hurricane Harvey not yet a distant memory.

Kristen Bell is helping wherever she can while stranded in Florida. She helped Josh Gad's family evacuate by getting them a hotel room in Orlando and then traveled to a middle school being used a shelter and put on a performance.

Beyoncé did the same but is still focused on her hometown of Houston, Texas. Along with her mother, daughter Blue Ivy, and Michelle Williams, she made an appearance at a Houston church to support the area, telling them, "I sang my first solo here, and I just wanna thank you for lifting my family up, for praying for me, and for being such an incredible example of what light and love is. This today is a celebration of survival."
