Len Wein, the creator of the iconic character Wolverine, died on Sunday at the age of 69. Actor Hugh Jackman, whose career took off in large part thanks to his role as Wolverine in 20th Century Fox’s X-Men movies, is paying tribute to Wein. Jackman posted a photo of the two men on Twitter, with a note describing their first meeting in 2008. Marvel Comics also mourned Wein's passing, with a statement reading in part Len’s contributions to the Marvel Universe as writer, editor, and member of the Marvel family will never be forgotten. He will be missed.”
