Kesha has released her first new music in four years as well as officially announced the release date of her forthcoming album. The album titled "Rainbow" is the singer's first since 2012. She has spent the past few years dealing with a high-profile legal battle with her music producer Dr. Luke over sexual assault and harassment charges. The lead single from the album, "Praying," is co-written by Ryan Lewis. In an essay for Lenny Letter, Kesha explains that the song is about "coming to feel empathy for someone else even if they hurt you or scare you." "Rainbow" will be out August 11th.
