Quitting The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills may have been for the better, as Adrienne Maloof claims she is doing quite well since her departure.

“I am in a great place and so excited about the future,” Maloof told E! News. “I am working on some huge projects for television and also concentrating on producing a film, so it's a very dynamic time right now.”

Of course, while she may be happy she left, she was quick to note that she owes her career to RHOBH.

“I am grateful for the platform Housewives gave me,” she said. “It was a fantastic experience, but now it’s time for something new.”

Currently, Maloof has a jewelry line planned for Bloomingdales.

“I can’t wait for everybody to see it,” she said of the project, adding that she is “thrilled about” unveiling it.

Maloof also has projects planned for TV and, apparently, film.

In the meantime, a source close to the former Bravo star notes that Maloof has not contacted any of her former Housewives cast mates.

“Adrienne is in a different place now,” the source said, “mixing with a different crowd. [She] has her sights set on bigger and better things than Housewives.”

The source also added that she and Sean Stewart may be looking to give dating a second go. On Thursday, she and her younger beau were spotted at dinner with his father, Rod Stewart, as well as his stepmother Penny Lancaster, sister Kimberly Stewart and Kimberly’s current man, Harry Styles.

“Sean and Adrienne support each other and have fun and both understand the world of entertainment,” the source said.
