Sometimes a horror film becomes so popular that it is turned into a TV Show. Screenrant.com made a list of horror films that would make absolutely wonderful TV Shows. They believe ‘The Purge’ has enough sociopolitical commentary and brutality that it is open-ended enough to be a TV Show. Another on their list was the 1987 film ‘The Running Man,’ which starred Arnold Schwartzeneggar. They believe it’s TV-Show spinoff would do well on the history channel, because it would mimic the production design of 1980’s film and would feature a ton of political commentary. Finally, the number one movie on their list was ‘It Follows.’ The film itself takes place in Detroit, so they feel it’s TV-Show should too. The film follows a monster who is passed on through sexual intercourse. They believe this would make a great show, because it could have an infinite number of characters.
