Secretary of State Rex Tillerson received warm praise regarding his visit to China on Sunday, from Chinese President Xi Jinping. This was Tillerson's first trip to Asia since taking his high level cabinet position in the Trump presidency and according to NBC News online the visit ended on a high note with "an agreement to work together with China on North Korea and putting aside trickier issues." The good report comes even as the Trump administration appears to be creating a huge new arms package. The creation of that package has brought about deep suspicions from Beijing about what exactly the U.S.'s intentions are toward self-ruled Taiwan, which China claims as its own. "You said that China-U.S. relations can only be friendly. President Xi Jinping said of the visit, "You said that China-U.S. relations can only be friendly. I express my appreciation for this."
