As Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson seem to continue down the path of reconciliation, Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders is also trying to make nice with wife Liberty Ross now that the scandal has begun to blow over.

If you’ll recall, Stewart was photographed snuggling up to and kissing Sanders, revealing that the two had an affair behind their significant others’ backs. Stewart has since been desperately trying to mend her relationship with her Twilight costar, and it seems Sanders is working towards the same goal.

Sanders and Ross were caught by TMZ’s photographers hugging it out after seeing a marriage counselor on Wednesday, mere weeks after the scandal came to light. Ross visited a divorce lawyer shortly after hearing of the affair, but she seems to want to give the marriage a try.

Still, the couple is far from happy—they both were still without their wedding rings and arrived and left separately, the gossip site reported.
