Adele has recorded the new theme for the upcoming James Bond movie Skyfall, reports Total Film.
The Grammy-winning singer was spotted at Abbey Road Studios in London during recording sessions for the film’s score. According to Rolling Stone, it is not yet certain if she wrote the lyrics or simply provided vocals.
The song is also titled “Skyfall.”
Adele joins artists such as Madonna (“Die Another Day”), Garbage (“The World is Not Enough”), Sheryl Crow (“Tomorrow Never Dies”), Tina Turner (“GoldenEye”) and Dame Shirley Bassey (“Goldfinger,” “Diamonds Are Forever,” “Moonraker”), among many others. Most recently, Jack White and Alicia Keys performed the song “Another Way to Die” from 2008’s Quantum of Solace.
Skyfall hits theatres on November 9 in the U.S.
