John Mayer has been known for his A-list celebrity conquests, including Taylor Swift, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jessica Simpson... and he just might be adding another big name to the lineup.

According to TMZ, Mayer was seen with none other than former Mrs. Russell Brand, Katy Perry, leaving the Chateau Marmont Hotel in West Hollywood last night.

The pair reportedly seemed casual, but the occasion still leaves us guessing if they’re actually a couple—especially after they were spotted less than two months ago cuddling with each other at West Hollywood’s SoHo House, according to the Daily News.

Still, an insider explained to People magazine that they aren’t taking their romance too seriously just yet—especially since the “Wide Awake” singer is still fresh from her split.

“I don’t think either of them are trying for anything serious right now,” the source explained. “She’s not talking like he’s ‘The One’ ... She’s comfortable around guys who understand the craziness of that world, which he definitely does.”
