Snoop Dogg has taken a new direction—and a new name—with his upcoming album.
According to Pitchfork, Snoop will release a reggae LP, titled Reincarnated, under the name Snoop Lion. The first single, “La La La,” is out now, while the album will come out later this year on Vice.
“La La La” was produced by Diplo and Ariel Rechtshaid and executive produced by Major Lazer, says the music website. Meanwhile, Snoop’s website announced that Snoop Lion & the Jungle will appear live on August 3 during Toronto’s Caribana Festival 2012.
