Charlie Sheen and ex-wife Denise Richards are together again—onscreen, that is.

Richards is set to gust star this week on Sheen’s new sitcom, FX’s Anger Management, playing a new love interest.

According to Yahoo! TV, Richards will portray Lori, “a New Age-y type of gal who clashes with Charlie because he’s a therapist and she doesn’t believe in therapy.”

While some may assume the pairing would be awkward after their bitter 2006 divorce, lucky for 41-year-old Richards, it wasn’t the case at all.

“It was more awkward for everyone on set watching,” Richards told Good Morning America co-host Robin Roberts. “We looked around and were like, ‘Everyone is staring at us.’”

After a custody battle and drug abuse allegations, Richards eventually made amends with Sheen, and they were most recently spotted at a baseball game in New York with daughters Lola, 7, and Sam, 8—causing speculation that the couple may be more than friendly, according to the Daily Mail.

“People are trying to make more out of it,” Richards said, however, killing romance rumors. “When they don’t see us together we’re at each other, but when we’re together they think we’re back together. But it’s for our girls. It’s for them.”

Richards’ onscreen romance with Sheen, 46, may be somewhat reminiscent of another the pair shared: she also played one of Sheen’s many female companions on the hit show Two and a Half Men.

Sheen’s father Martin will also appear on the sitcom in an upcoming episode, starring as the onscreen father of the Winning Warlock, Yahoo! also reports.

Anger Management airs Thursdays on FX at 9:30 p.m.
