Sage Stallone, son of actor Sylvester Stallone, was found dead in his home in Los Angeles on Friday afternoon, according to a publicist and authorities.

“Sylvester Stallone is devastated and grief-stricken over the sudden loss of his son Sage Stallone,” said Sylvester’s rep in a statement obtained by E! News. “His compassion and thoughts are with Sage’s mother, Sasha [Czack]. Sage was a very talented and wonderful young man, his loss will be felt forever.”

Sage, 36, was discovered by his housekeeper, said his attorney George Braunstein to People, and police responded to a call at the home at approximately 2:15 p.m.

According to Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter, prescription bottles were found at the scene, though it is unknown what kind, how many bottles or whether or not they attributed to his death. There were also no signs of trauma or foul play or forced entry.

An autopsy is set to be performed in the coming days, though a result from toxicology tests will take several more weeks.

Sage starred in Rocky V alongside his father and went on to have a successful acting and filmmaking career. He was the oldest son of Sylvester and the first of two sons with his father’s first wife, Sasha Czack. He last appeared Thursday at San Diego Comic-Con, reported USA Today, promoting his upcoming film Expendables 2 with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
