We know Tituss Burgess as extremely funny on Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, but apparently he's also not the type to let things go.
He pushed it when he felt he was taken advantage of by a moving company, and it's ended up in an apology for him.
Burgess left a scathing review on Yelp for a moving company he was working with... or trying to work with. According to his review he called Franks Express about having his couch moved. When they didn't show, he called back, and the moving company told him they'd give him a discount if he left a review on Yelp. Burgess said he'd be happy to when they complete the job. The company texted, "No review, no show."
The two continued to go back and forth over the issue, and Burgess claims to have called about nine times, saying the moving company wouldn't pick up despite the fact they were texting him. He hashtagged this "#lizaminelli #Iamgonnamakeavideoaboutyoubecauseofthedeepangerifeel #DONOTTHREATENMEIWILLWIN."
The non-professionalism didn't stop there. Burgess claims the Franks Express employee also used a gay slur on the text message and provided a screen shot of it as proof.
He told them, "You messed with the wrong Queen."
Guzel Gurva, manager at Franks Express, told EW that no one from his company had been in contact with Burgess.
"The problem is that we don't know this guy," she said. "We never did that. I don't know what company [he] did it with, but it's definitely not Franks Express."
Additionally, Franks Express provided EW with an email that they say was sent to Burgess. It details their innocence in the matter and asked him to send them the chat he said he had saved so that they could see who he was talking to, as they claimed their two phone lines and working email did not speak with him.
The company has now come back and apologized for the "fatal misunderstanding." They also claim again to have not spoken by phone with Burgess and say they never conduct service over the phone. They suspect that someone is using the company's name and reputation to do business as them.
