Chart-topping artist Adele has a major announcement—and this time it’s not about heartbreak!

Adele has announced on her official website today that she is pregnant with her first child with boyfriend Simon Konecki.

“I’m delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together,” she posted. “I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time.”

According to a source close to the pair, Adele had planned on becoming pregnant by the end of the year—and allegedly already has list of baby names picked out.

“[Adele] told Simon how broody she’s been feeling. The pair have spoken about children, and it’s something they both very much want in the future. Simon already has a 5-year-old daughter from his previous marriage with Clary, who Adele has met and absolutely adores,” the insider told the Daily Star. “It’s a huge turnaround for Adele who’s always said she wants to wait until she’s at least 30 and has five albums before she thinks about a family. But now they have their big pad in the country with ample bedrooms, she’s keen to fill it with babies.”

Adele, 24, has been with Konecki, 36, since last summer, though she didn’t announce the relationship until January via a blog post. Konecki is co-founder of Life Water, a bottled water company based in the UK. He and his first wife divorced four years ago, according to Rolling Stone.

“Everyone in our lives separately and together wish us nothing but the best, and vice versa,” Adele said in January.

Though she made a major comeback after vocal cord surgery at the Grammys this year, Adele has mostly been on hiatus since October 2011. Now that she is pregnant, it is uncertain how long her break will last—especially as the couple has not yet announced a due date.
