The Brooklyn Cyclones are inviting a particular youthful group of residents in Williamsburg to visit Coney Island for their own special night at the ballgame versus the Williamsport Crosscutters, dubbed “Williamsburg Night,” on July 5.

Their promotional flyers note any bearded fans receive special vouchers, and those wearing skinny jeans are allowed to run the bases after the game (yay?), but alas, there are no giveaways for those wearing funky, thick-framed glasses.

“Obviously, we expect most of our bearded fans to be men,” spokesman Billy Harner said to Brokelyn, verifying the special vouchers were not limited to men-only. “But it is Coney Island after all, and the bearded lady has been part of the Coney Island side shows for decades, so all are welcome.”

As for some strict, skinny jean criteria, Harner told the site, “There is no criteria for how skinny a skinny jean needs to be. We just recommend that they are loose enough to make your way around the bases comfortably.”

In addition to the fun, a Skeeball tournament run by Williamsburg’s own Full Circle Bar will take place, because any self-respecting hipster likes Skeeball more than baseball.

In order for the enclave of Williamsburg to feel even more comforted in the far away land of Coney Island, “some as-yet-unidentified Williamsburg music and art” will be featured.
