Katy Perry Wants to Ask Obama about Existence of Alien Life

With scandals and controversies engulfing President Barack Obama’s administration in the past year, it’s probably fair to assume that most Americans would enjoy the opportunity to sit down with the Commander-in-Chief to discuss the possibility of any government cover-ups.

Award-winning pop singer Katy Perry is no different, though her topic of choice may vary a bit from the norm.

The “California Girls” singer, it seems, is not interested in discussing the Benghazi attack or the National Security Agency’s controversial surveillance program. No, Perry would much rather pick the President’s brain on the existence of aliens.

“I see everything through a spiritual lens,” Perry said in a recently published interview with GQ magazine. “I believe in a lot of astrology. I believe in aliens.”

“I look up into the stars and I imagine: How self-important are we to think that we are the only life-form?” the teen idol continued.  “I mean, if my relationship with Obama gets any better, I’m going to ask him that question. It just hasn’t been appropriate yet.”

According to Politico, the White House released a statement in 2011 that said there is “no evidence that any life exists outside our planet.”

If Perry ever does get that sit-down with the President, perhaps during one of his famous beer summits, she will undoubtedly question his team’s research—wanting a definitive answer as to how they arrived at such a conclusion.

The singer has long been an adamant supporter of Obama, campaigning for him during both the 2008 and 2012 elections, also performing at his 2013 inauguration.
